Frequently Asked Questions

No — parsing and editing happen entirely in your browser using SheetJS (community edition, Apache 2.0). Your file never leaves your device.

You can upload XLS, XLSX, and CSV files. The output is always downloaded as XLSX (Excel format).

Yes — if your file has multiple sheets, tab buttons appear at the top of the editor. Click a tab to switch and edit that sheet.

Formulas are shown as their calculated values (e.g. a cell with =SUM(A1:A3) shows the sum). When you re-download, cells are saved as literal values. Formula-preserving round-trips are not supported in the free client-side version.

The editor renders up to 500 rows × 50 columns for performance. Files larger than this can still be uploaded — the first 500 rows are shown. All data is preserved on download.
