Accuracy & Updates

We regularly review and update our tools to reflect current regulations (such as income tax slabs and GST rates). However, rules and rates change frequently. Always cross-check important calculations with official government sources such as:

How Our Formulas Are Built & Reviewed

Each calculator is coded directly from the published source for that rule — the Income Tax Act and Finance Bill for tax slabs, the Payment of Gratuity Act 1972 for gratuity, EPFO circulars for PF rates, the National Savings Institute's notified rate for PPF, and RBI/lender conventions for loan EMI math. We don't estimate or guess at a rate.

When the Union Budget or a regulator changes a rate (for example, new income-tax slabs or a revised PPF rate), we update the affected calculator and its "last reviewed" date — shown on the tool page itself where applicable. Between official updates, no numbers are changed.

Most tools run entirely in your browser and never contact our server or any third party. A handful of tools need a live connection to do their job — for example, Speed Test measures your real connection, the Code Compiler sends code to a sandboxed execution service to run it, and IP Checker looks up your public IP via a lookup service. Each such tool states this plainly on its own page.
